Colliers International is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Luke Moffat as the Executive Director for Commercial Leasing in its Singapore office. Mr Moffat’s appointment will take effect from June 5, 2008.

Prior to this new appointment, Mr Moffat has spent six years in Colliers International’s Shanghai office in the Commercial Agency Division, where he was overall responsible for the provision of office leasing services to building owners. He assumed the role of an Executive Director for Commercial Agency from 2006 to 2008.

For his new appointment, Mr Moffat will be focusing on the development of landlord services in Singapore. He will work with the existing team to further strengthen Colliers’ current service offering to building owners in providing strategic advice and solutions. In addition, Mr Moffat will support the business development of regional landlord services.

Mr Moffat brings with him more than 10 years of real estate experience gained from his tenures with PRD Realty in Brisbane and Colliers International in Shanghai. During his stint in Shanghai, he has successfully represented numerous multinational corporations such as Dow Chemical, Kuehne and Nagel, Maersk, Schneider Electric, Autodesk, Alcatel, Procter & Gamble, FedEx and Ericsson in their office space needs and lease negotiation. He has also provided landlord services to MGPA, who previously owned Platinum (35,000 sq m) and the SEB Group, the current owner of Platinum, Yong Da Group for Yong Da International Tower (40,000 sq m), Morgan Stanley for The Exchange (76,000 sq m), Morgan Stanley & Anderson Land for Anderson Plaza (55,000 sq m) and Merrill Lynch for 686 JiuJiang (30,000 sq m).

Mr Moffat holds a Law degree from the Queensland University of Technology in Australia and has also obtained a Graduate Diploma in Project Management.
