Pimpri-Chinchwad Authority decided to reserve 27 percent of its land for weaker section
As reported in The Indian Express, Pimpri-Chinchwad New Town Development Authority (PCNTDA) will reserve 27 percent of its plots, shops, stalls and flats for weaker section of the society. Government servants will get a five percent reservation, PCNDTA employees two percent, Scheduled Castes 11 percent, Scheduled Tribes six percent, and nomadic tribes and nomadic castes 1.5 percent each.According to Umakant Dangat, CEO of PCNDTA, as per the the new decision - 27 percent of PCNDTA land will be reserved while the remaining 73 percent will be open for others.
