DLF plans to launch eight shopping malls in FY’08
According to The Economic Times, DLF Ltd is planning to launch seven to eight shopping malls in few metros in the current fiscal year. The company did not reveal the investment details but said that the cost of construction would be in a range of 3,000-4,000 per sq ft excluding the land costs.

Vipul Ltd plans investment of INR 450 crore to develop hotels across the country
As reported in Business Standard, realty firm Vipul Ltd is in line to make investments worth INR 450 crore for developing six hotels across the country.
According to Atul Bansal, Finance Head of the Company, the group plans to develop business category hotels with number of rooms in a range of 120-190. The cities chosen are Mohali, Bhubaneswar, Siliguri, Amritsar, Ludhiana and Raipur.
